BRING AND BLING – PRINT + UPCYCLING WORKSHOP

A print and upcycling workshop. Bring along any clothes or textiles that you’d like to bling up! Embellish, personalise and print an existing item into a work of art, using various printing techniques ?including stamping, stencilling, patches inks and metallic foils. All materials supplied. This workshop is suitable for kids and adults to do together.

PRINT A PORTRAIT OF YOUR PET WORKSHOP

Have a dog, cat, guinea pig or mouse you want to immortalise? This workshop will be using drawing, stencils and screenprinting to make a portrait of your favourite pet. No worries if you don’‘t have one, make one up. Printing onto good quality paper the option for framing is also available at an extra cost.

Tasty nibbles and a glass of Prosecco provided.A Monoprinting workshop for Adults only where you will learn basic monoprinting using silkscreens and inks. This is a really fun introduction to printmaking and allows for spontaneity, experimentation, and unique results. It’s a great way to explore your creativity and produce quick, one-of-a-kind prints! Price includes a glass of wine/ prosecco and maybe a few Monster Munch type crisps!

RELIEF PRINTING WITH FOUND OBJECTS
TUES 6th AUG
11am – 1 pm + 2pm – 4 pm

Come and print some “beasts” whether real or imaginary using the recycled/found materials provided. Anything you can find that has a surface can be inked and printed from. This printmaking session transforms everyday objects and scrap materials into objects for printing and mark making. The workshop will invite participants to use found objects to print up their creatures. We will be looking at the different textures and surfaces to create interesting shapes and layers of colour. This is a fun and experimental workshop with great results.

DESIGN AND PRINT YOUR OWN T-SHIRT
TUES 30th JULY

Design, draw and screenprint your own T shirt ready for the summer holidays. Using stencils, paper cutouts, lettering and images, be imaginative as you like and express yourself onto a t shirt. Bring your own design, It can be a photograph, something you have drawn, doodled or illustrated. Or an image you’ve found.
This is a workshop that can be suitable for younger children too. We supply
t shirts but you can bring a plain one of your own to upcycle.

Come and enjoy the art of screen printing. You will have a choice of printing your design onto paper or a tshirt, or you can bring along any item of clothing or textiles you’d like to print onto.You will learn how to design and cut stencils and the best way to print the image. Due to time constraints we may only be working up to two colours during this session. (Depending on individual design). You are welcome to bring along your own images, drawings, doodles type or illustration ( non copywrite only). The option for framing is also available at an extra cost. All materials supplied.

This session will be for parents and kids combined. You are invited to bring along any clothes that are stained, ripped or just need a little “shooshing” up. You can stamp, stencil screen print and patch old denim, t-shirts, skirts, trousers or jackets. Embellish, personalise and print an existing item into a work of art, using various printing techniques including silkscreening, stamping, stencilling and patching.
