September is here and at Little Mashers we are hoping that we can finally get back to some form of normality now the kids are going back to school/college. Over the summer holidays with most people doing a staycation the shop has welcomed lots of lovely visitors to St Leonards. With its array of great independent shops and restaurants it’s definately been a popular place to visit. Jess aka theonlygirlinthehouse a lovely blogger thought so too and came to see us back in August. She did a whole piece on Hastings and St Leonards which was great fun and helped promote our town. Over the summer we commissioned a local filmaker @just_jassim to help us showcase Little Mashers. The brief was to explain without words ( neither of us particularly like talking on camera) who Little Mashers are. The result is a brilliant concise video showing the many aspects of our business, from design and screenprinting, to educational workshops and retail. The final film has been edited and can be viewed on our You Tube page here . More vids will be coming soon showing specific products including our glow tshirts and creative kits.
Last week we were thrilled to hear that our Creative kits have been shortlisted for the Junior Design Awards 20/21 in their Best Creative Play ( Crafts) category. Our creator kits were launched early this year and have been very well received during lockdown. Although we had all the pieces in place we were catapulted into full blown production just after our launch, with Easter being as busy as Christmas. We are so glad that this lovely kit has been recognised and have all our fingers crossed for the results in November.
